AZAD KASHMIR
Azad Jammu and Kashmir (Urdu: آزاد جموں و کشمیر Azad Jammu o Kashmir) abbreviated as AJK or Azad Kashmir (literally Free Kashmir),
is a self-governing, autonomous territory of Pakistan. This region lies west of
India and is bordered by the autonomous[2] Indian State of Jammu and
Kashmir. It was part of the former princely state of Jammu and Kashmir, which
ceased to exist as a result of the first Kashmir war fought between India and
Pakistan in 1947.
